By recommendation from our waitress, I ordered the Fessenjan, which is breast of chicken simmered in a sweet and sour sauce made from pomegranate and finely crushed walnuts. The unusual flavor was outstanding. Sir Braver enjoyed Mediterranean Chicken which again was a breast of chicken but with sauce made from basil, garlic, red pepper, zesty orange, fennel, black olives, and white wine. Both entrees were served with rice and a few vegetables, and both were delicious.
Our waitress darted about busily tending to guests. The food, however, was slow to arrive. Perhaps an appetizer would have made the wait a bit easier. Nevertheless, different and delicious, Persian House is a wonderful lunch or dinner choice.
